Can you ever have to many toys?
Ok so maybe I have an addiction to RX-7 toys

Tomy BitChar-G  R/C cars

The coolest little R/C cars!

Max7-BitChar-G-20.jpg (180863 bytes) Ok, here is how to build your very own BitChar-G

There are even hop-up parts
Tires - I believe 3 compounds
Motors. - 1.0  Stock
                         - 2.2  Every bolt-on
                     - 2.6  Single turbo
Max7-BitChar-G-1.jpg (196853 bytes) Step 1 : Get one!!!!

I got mine from Hobby Link Japan

about $25.00 US
Max7-BitChar-G-2.jpg (179743 bytes) The open box with all the parts and some
literature in Japanese with good pictures!
Max7-BitChar-G-3.jpg (205335 bytes) All the parts broken down

Body shell, main body, wheels, rear axle
gears, motor,  motor cage, and controller
Max7-BitChar-G-4.jpg (213850 bytes) The main body, install the front tires first

They just slip on
Max7-BitChar-G-5.jpg (203968 bytes) Next slip on the back tires
(Oh what big meats!)
onto the back axle
Max7-BitChar-G-6.jpg (189392 bytes) There is a hole in the back of the controller for
installing the engine gear to the engine
so you don't bend the motors shaft.

(The wind knob is for retracting the antenna)
Max7-BitChar-G-7.jpg (208243 bytes) Turn the car around for motor installation

Rear drive, rear engine
Max7-BitChar-G-8.jpg (201950 bytes) Install the engine cage
Max7-BitChar-G-9.jpg (203999 bytes) Install the motor by pressing down
Max7-BitChar-G-10.jpg (206983 bytes) Close the engine cage.

(this makes engine changes VERY easy)

To bad the real FD wasn't this easy

Max7-BitChar-G-11.jpg (207034 bytes) Install the (tranny) gear between the
engine gear the the rear axle gear.
Max7-BitChar-G-12.jpg (210078 bytes) Install the rear axle, being careful not to bend it.
Max7-BitChar-G-13.jpg (203790 bytes) Snap on the body shell.

(rear first, then the front)

Max7-BitChar-G-14.jpg (173540 bytes) Open the battery compartment via a screw

(yah you need a screwdrive, what happen to clips?)
Max7-BitChar-G-15.jpg (169747 bytes) I used rechargeable since I figured I'd got thru a few.
Max7-BitChar-G-16.jpg (129157 bytes) The controller, basic left, right, forward and reverse.

and an on off switch. To get the antenna out just
pull strait up on it. its long about foot and half.

Max7-BitChar-G-17.jpg (141914 bytes) the charging area is to the right.
Max7-BitChar-G-18.jpg (147143 bytes) Place the car on the charger, you may have to
wiggle it a bit to make contact.

The red (charge) light will come on
and in about 45 seconds you will be ready to race!

Max7-BitChar-G-19.jpg (178418 bytes) Ready to RACE!!!!!!

Video showing me driving around some Mt. Dew cans!

and wrecking into the Red FD..... oops!

750K

Shows the power of the 2.6 motor
over the base 1.0 motor

not really seen until you add some twisties
it really holds speed better in the turns
