got a hold of a spare intake to play around with, thankfully it was in better shape than mine. |

and lower intake cleaned, ready for the real work about 2 hrs |

Started
with 40 grit worked my way up to 80 used every tool I could find, dremel, drill hand tools, alot of elbow grease then on to 120 and finally 220 grit about 8 hrs |

you
can go up to 600 grit, but I stopped when it looked pretty good to me, then I got some buffing wheels and compound, and spent more time polishing, which was alot quicker than the whole sanding process about 4hrs |

shot, I removed the secondary throttle valves and did more cleaning of the throttle body and the bac valve |

wait to see it in the car. now to do some motor cleaning |
